Back to our four varied podcasts this week, each chaired by Gareth Wax - producer, director, and your host - in conversation with myself, conveyancing collaborator Hamish McLay.
Together, we’ll be welcoming, as usual, a range of guests from across the property sector, bringing with them their own insights and experience. From legal aspects to development stories, and more. Our intent is to present engaging, informative conversations and fresh perspectives in each episode.
Property Matters - Tuesday April 29th at 1pm
Deborah Forbes-Harding, who hasn’t joined any of our previous podcasts, we warmly welcome to discuss the topic of "HMOs: A Social Solution to Today’s Housing Challenges". Based in London, Deborah has many years’ experience working with social housing, HMOs, and property.
IPSA Kind Of Magic - Wednesday April 30th at 1pm
Today’s episode – Buyer Beware: The Hidden Gaps In The Pack. I’ll be in conversation with our regular host Gareth Wax, who also produces and directs the show. We may also be joined by Jackie Dyson from IPSA.
Property Quorum - Thursday May 1st at 10am
Contrary to Government, Church or any other intervention, today is the true MAY DAY - and "MHCLG Facing A Mountain: Costing More, Coping Less?" is today’s topic. The regular team of Juliet Baboolal, now back, and Chris Gelsenan, today ask how far up the mountain the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government can go.
Don’t forget to vote either – it’s May Day + Polling Day!
Cladding Matters - Friday May 2nd at 1pm
Planning by Opinion: Are Councils Fit to Decide? will be discussed today with our resident at Royal Artillery Quays, Stephen Day, following on from a statement received from the councillor in charge of building safety at Greenwich Council. It was of particular interest, declaring the building safe following on from London Fire Brigade condemning it.
Additional guests for podcasts may be revealed as the week progresses.
