Launchpad Campaign Guide
WiggyWam Launchpad is a community-powered fundraising platform that allows individuals, startups, and organisations to raise funds for creative, social, or commercial projects across the housing and property ecosystem. This guide explains how to create and manage a campaign through the frontend of the website, with examples of successful reward structures and real-world applications.
Getting Started
1. Log in to your WiggyWam account. Navigate to the Campaigns section and click “Create Campaign”. Follow the prompts to complete your campaign profile as follows.
2. Enter Campaign Details Give your campaign a short, clear title. (We’ve created a couple of demo ampaigns which you can see on Launchapad – just search for ‘demo’). For example, a title might be:
- PropScan: Revolutionising Property Valuations with AI LegalChain: Smart Contracts for Conveyancing
- MortiMate: Mortgage Approval in 60 Seconds
3. Provide a detailed campaign description explaining your idea, why it matters, and how the funds will be used. Keep it compelling, honest, and benefit-focused.
4. If you want to add a YouTube or Vimeo video to your campaign you just need to copy the URL and then paste it where you want it to appear within the Description area of your project.4. Upload a strong cover image that represents your campaign clearly and professionally.
5. Set a realistic funding goal and choose a start and end date for your campaign.
6. Add pre-defined donation tiers such as £50, £100, £500, £1,000, £5,000, or more depending on your audience (optional).
7. Add Reward Tiers (again optional but encouraged)
Reward tiers are a powerful way to incentivise donations. You must not offer equity, cash returns, or any form of financial instrument. However, non-financial perks such as advertising opportunities, featured content, and sponsorship rights can add enormous value for business supporters. Here are some examples of different reward structures across sectors that might help you develop your own:
PropTech Campaign Example: PropScan – AI-Powered Property Search
- £500: Personal thank-you, early beta access, and your logo featured in launch credits
- £1,000: 3-month featured listing in the partner zone of the PropScan homepage
- £5,000: 12-month premium advertising banner on all PropScan property result pages + featured article on your business, products or services
- £10,000: Co-branded pilot programme opportunity + headline partner on launch PR
LegalTech Campaign Example: LegalChain – Blockchain for Conveyancing
- £500: Recognition on our partner supporter wall + invitation to private demo
- £2,000: Early adopter account + logo included in live demo videos shown to firms
- £7,500: One-year homepage banner advert on the LegalChain website + lead generation referral mention in launch webinars
- £12,000: Sponsored research whitepaper placement + exclusive legaltech webinar series co-branding
FinTech Campaign Example: “MortiMate – Instant Mortgage Matching App
- • £1,000: Shout-out in newsletter and beta trial invite
- • £3,500: Logo feature and link on our “Trusted Fintech Partners” page for 6 months
- • £7,500: 12-month placement in our “Recommended Tools” sidebar shown to users across thousands of search sessions
- • £15,000: Personalised, co-branded video interview and feature campaign promoted on all MortiMate partner channels + ongoing blog series sponsorship
These kinds of reward tiers are designed to appeal to industry brands, digital advertisers, and growth-stage tech businesses who are used to spending heavily on promotion across social media platforms, targeted industry platforms, blogs, portals, or affiliate networks. Your campaign can offer a high-visibility alternative - directly within a relevant and emerging property-tech ecosystem.
8. Complete the email messages including the thank you message, you can also use these to let them know what’s next, and so on.
9. Once your campaign setup is complete, click submit.
10. All campaigns are subject to moderation. Once approved, your campaign will go live on the platform, ready for supporters to view and donate.
MANAGING YOUR CAMPAIGN
Log in and visit “My Campaigns” to view and manage your campaign progress. You can monitor contributions, update your description, adjust your end date (if needed), and message backers. You’ll also be able to download contributor details and respond to enquiries.
PROMOTING YOUR CAMPAIGN
The success of your campaign depends on visibility. Promote it through your social media channels, newsletters, LinkedIn, investor updates, partner networks, and email outreach. If you already run a website or blog, link to your campaign prominently or embed a widget. Important Reminders
